Nashville's The Chef & I (a Restaurant—Not a Musical)

A Unique Culinary Experience

The Chef & I in Nashville is a unique culinary experience that’s sure to tantalize the taste buds of locals and visitors alike. With a rich menu of shareable creations and entrees crafted from the freshest ingredients, there’s something for everyone.

The brunch menu is especially noteworthy, my friends, with classic breakfast dishes such as the Braised Pork Belly Banh Mi Benny (a delicious breakfast sandwich with braised pork belly slices pan roasted and served on garlic focaccia toast with mock sriracha miso "hollandaise" and pickled cucumber, carrot, and radishes) and the House Cured Bacon and Tomato Benny (thick-cut house

smoked bacon, sliced beefsteak tomato, and caramelized sweet onions atop buttered focaccia, finished with a white wine Beurre Blanc and a sunny side egg).

The dinner menu is equally enticing. Might I suggest to you the Crispy Skinned Duck Breast? Good. Because I’m going to. It's served over braised smoked chile Yukon potatoes with a sweet corn succotash and a roasted poblano and ancho charred salsa.

Another great pick is the Beef Teres Major Steak—a pan roasted shoulder tenderloin cooked up medium-rare and sliced over a crispy polenta cake with seasonal vegetables, charged garlic scapes, and a smoke chile chimichurri.

Is your mouth watering? Or is it just me?

The Chef & I also offers a selection of wines to pair with your meal. And the cocktails are perfectly-named for a Music City venue! The Dave Grohl cocktail (Tito’s Handmade Vodka, citrus, St. Germain, and Black Walnut) and the Killer Queen (Milagro Reposado, lime, agave, and habanero) are two examples.

No matter what you choose from The Chef & I’s menu, you’re sure to experience a unique culinary adventure of tastes, textures, and creativity.

Have you been to this spot before? What did you think? I'd love to hear.
