You Knead to Know These Pizza Spots in Nashville

3 Pizza Places in Nashville

Okay, let's talk pizza. I've got three great places in Nashville you've got to check out.

First up is Emmy Squared Pizza, located in the Gulch, right there in the midst of boutique hotels, high-rise condos, and Instagrammable murals. They’re known for Detroit-style pizzas with a fluffy focaccia-like dough, edged with a caramelized, crispy cheese known as the "frico crust.” Get ready to be loud when you bite into it, from the crunch and the “ummmmm” of satisfaction.

Some of their most popular pizzas include The Emmy (topped with mozzarella, pepperoni, and red onion) and The Lou (made with mozzarella and garlic cream and topped with pepperoni and oregano). They've also got multiple vegan options and a full beer and cocktail menu. (Try the Belle Isle Appletini "Remake" with vodka, apple cider, lemon, and St George Spiced Pear.)

Next is Five Points Pizza (locations in West and East Nashville). Start off with the garlic knots to share with your crew. Then it's high time for pie time. They've got a Four Cheese Pizza that's anything but ordinary with creamy ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, and parmesan. There's a Prosciutto Pizza loaded with mozzarella, provolone, prosciutto, caramelized onions, and sage. If you want to go full Nashville on it, order the Hot Chicken Pizza with pickles, ranch, and mozzarella.

There's also salad, stromboli, and a fun beverage menu including a basil-infused lemonade. Beer fans, Five Points Pizza has 16 rotating taps of local and craft beers! Plus plenty of cans and bottles too.

My third pick for you is Desano, with multiple locations in Nashville. They offer up authentic Neapolitan pizza crafted by master pizza makers in wood-burning ovens. Yum.

What's on the menu here? The San Marzano is one of my absolute favorites. This Margherita pizza comes topped with San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte mozzarella, and extra virgin olive oil. There's the Diavola with spicy salami, fior di latte mozzarella, and San Marzano tomatoes. The Capricciosa's got artichoke hearts, mushrooms, fior di latte mozzarella, and San Marzano tomatoes.

When it comes to pizza in Nashville, you can tell you’ve got options. Have you been to any of these spots? What’s your favorite place to grab a slice in Music City?
