Places to Be When the Ball Drops

Guess what: New York City isn’t the only place to party when the ball drops. Nashville has tons to offer as you ring out the old and bring in the new. 

Disco Rodeo NYE 2023

This will be your first rodeo . . . of 2023 anyway. Acme Feed and Seed is offering live music and three floors of fun to finish out 2022. Tickets range in cost and get you into various VIP experiences, including lounge vibes on the 2nd floor, club vibes on the 3rd, and a silent disco on the rooftop. Bands will be announced closer to time. This event is 21+.

The Roaring Into ‘23 New Year’s Eve Celebration

If flashing back to the roaring 20s is how you want to welcome the new year, this is the party for you, old sport. Hosted by Noelle Nashville, this celebration will feature an open bar, dancing, live music, incredible food, a midnight balloon drop, and more. Dress in full Gatsby vibes to really embrace the theme. Tickets are $300 (but get you all the stuff I just mentioned). This event is 21+

Emo on Prom Night

Dance the night away in your finest prom attire at Virgin Hotels Nashville from 9:00pm to 2:00am. Tickets offer a three-hour open bar and live renditions of your favorite punk rock classics. Heavy black eyeliner isn’t required, but it just makes sense. 

New Year’s Eve The Get Down With Wooten Brothers

Rudy’s Jazz Room is hosting the Wooten Brothers and their band, who will play you into the new year with their unique funk-jazz-soul sound. Tickets get you that live music, hours of dancing, hors d’oeuvres inspired by New Orleans, champagne for the midnight toast, access to a photo booth (so you can capture the evening on film), and more! This event is 21+.

Back in Black Tie

Spend New Year’s Eve at Sinema (in the Melrose area) from 8:00pm to 1:00am. Dress to the nines and walk the red carpet, a perfect social media photo moment. Tickets to this event get you four drink tokens, plenty to eat at the heavy appetizer stations, photo booth memories, some party favors, a dance party, and (of course) a champagne toast at midnight. This event is 21+.

Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash

I saved the biggest one for last. Enjoy live music, fireworks, and the signature Music Note Drop at midnight. Where? Nashville’s Big Bash. And when I save live music—I mean legit country music icons like Brooks & Dunn, Zac Brown Band, and Kelsea Ballerini who are all headlining on the main stage event at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. And that show? It’s free. No, really. You can see who else will hit the stage and learn more details on this huge event here. 

However you plan to say “so long” to 2022, do it in Nashville.
