What a beautiful day Nashville! Nash here with another phenomenal place to visit!
Ready for an adventure while going back on time? Let's do it y'all!
Roaring 20s Vibe, No Time Machine Required
Back in Prohibition days, you had to be covert to get a drink. Secret codes to get you into underground speakeasies were the norm. Today, you can relive the exclusive thrill of sneaking in somewhere for a drink (but without any real threat of getting raided) at Nashville’s Red Phone Booth.
Here’s how it works. The place is open to the public, but you’ve got to secure a phone number from a member, concierge, or friend and dial that “secret code” into a restored London antique red phone booth to get in. Plus, you can’t come in shorts or sweats. This is a classy place. Dress the part—it’s one of the many elements of fun for the Red Phone Booth!

You’ll feel like you stepped back in time when you walk in, starting with the decor. Here’s how their website describes it: “The venue features restored original brick and reclaimed tobacco barn wood floors, a honey onyx bar, intimate fireplaces, custom Italian leather couches, and hand-painted ceiling with back lighting.”
Sit back, sip, and smoke. They’ve got a walk-in humidor with 100+ selections, including two house cigars any enthusiast will want to try. And yes, it gets a bit smoky in there—but they’ve got multiple, top-notch fresh air units and other measures to keep the indoors easy to breathe in.
For sipping, you’ve got more than 180 whiskeys and bourbons to pick from including Yamazaki (up to 18 year), Hibiki (up to 21 year), the Macallan 1824 series, and the entire Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.
Prefer cocktails? They’ve got you covered. There’s the Bramble (with gin, lime, and blackberries), the Hemingway Daiquiri (with white rum and grapefruit), a Smoked Old Fashioned, Modified Whiskey Sour, and more.

You can come for the sips and smokes alone—or enjoy pizza from their custom-made Italian pizza oven as well. Either way, the Red Phone Booth isn’t a bar—it’s a full flashback experience. From the ambiance to the selection of drinks and cigars to the Roaring 20s feeling you’ll get—this spot will easily give you an evening to remember.
Hey, if you’ve already been to this spot, what did you think? Send me your thoughts! I’d love to hear.
