Brews That Make You Go “Yee-Haw”

YEE-HAW BREWERY

What do you get when you mix rowdy with a touch of refined? Yee-Haw Brewery on 6th Avenue in Nashville.

First things first, I’ve got to talk about the beer. You’ve. Got. Options. There’s a dunkel, IPA, Kölsch, Scottish style, American craft lager, Mexican-style, and pilsner on the all-year-long availability list. And then there are seasonal brews. Fall brings the Oktoberfest, Winter the Winter Porter, and Spring/Summer the Yee-Haw Hefe.

But the brews aren’t all you’ll enjoy when you visit this taproom. Yee-Haw Brewery shares a 30,000 square foot campus with Ole Smoky Moonshine and White Duck Taco Shop. Oh, and there’s a chance to eat Daddy’s Dogs too.

That’s right, this campus has two large screen TVs, two stages, two restaurants, a beer garden, and a brewery and distillery on site. While you’re here, play a round of corn hole with friends or lounge under the lights in the comfy outdoor seating. You can catch local artists and touring bands and epic watch parties, all while drinking and eating incredible tastes of Nashville.

If you’ve never heard of White Duck Taco Shop, they’ve got so many filling options like tofu, shrimp, Buffalo chicken, BLT, lamb, fish, steak, and—of course—duck. If gourmet hot dogs are more your speed, check out Daddy’s Dogs, with options like the Lone Wolf (standard mustard, ketchup, and relish), Chicago (pickle, onion, tomato, mustard), the Mac Daddy (It’s got mac and cheese on top! Enough said.), the Music City Dog (with bacon, bbq sauce, cheddar cheese, and onion) to name a few.

Before you leave the campus, grab a bottle of the Ginger Lime Whisky from Ole Smoky so you can make the best mules at home.

This isn’t a one-stop shop. A trip to Yee-Haw Brewery is an event. Bring your friends, family, or both—and get ready to get the exact right amount of Nashville rowdy.

Hey, if you’ve already been to this spot, what did you think? Send me your thoughts! I’d love to hear.
