This Brewery is Hopping

If you’re a big fan of brews, check out Monday Night Brewery Preservation Co. in East Germantown. This brewery and full-service taproom features 24 draft beers, an extensive outdoor seating area, and a variety of snacks. You can even bring your well-behaved, leashed pup to the patio!

I love the vibe here, inside and out, and I love when older factory type spaces get a new life for a new generation. That’s just what happened here. The taproom is one of the first spots opened in the Neuhoff development. This once-meat-packing facility in Nashville is now what the website calls a “newly reinvented a mixed-use waterfront development with city-defining architecture.”

Now let’s talk about food and drinks. Monday Night Preservation Co. offers tasty snacks to munch on, including their Classic Pretzel Bites (one of my favorite items on a bar menu anywhere) with garlic-white cheddar dipping sauce, a Nashville Hot Cauliflower option for vegetarians or veggie-lovers, and their Fried Green Tomatoes, a southern standard snack for sure.

I know you’re going to this spot for the beer, so let’s talk about that! For a light, refreshing sip, try the Blind Pirate Blood Orange IPA. This brew combines a juicy citrus flavor with a tropical hop aroma. There’s also the Drafty Kilt Scotch Ale with a malty sweetness and a hint of smokiness. If you want a more classic taste, the Eye Patch Ale has a balanced malt and hop character.

They’ve got some limited-release brews like the Panic Button (a mixed-culture sour ale), Stranger Danger (an imperial milk stout), and the Chaos Theory (a bourbon barrel-aged dark sour ale with cherries and blackberries even). If one of those sounds right up your alley, hurry in before they’re gone!

You can buy the beer to enjoy there or grab a to go from their filled coolers. But don’t drink and walk or drive. Take the goods home to party later!
