You’ll Laugh So Hard Your Face (and Neck?) Will Be Red

Nashville's Redneck Comedy Bus Tour

There are plenty of ways to see the highlights of Music City in a tour fashion—but there’s literally nothing like the Redneck Comedy Bus Tour.

Recommended for kids (and kids at heart) ages 14+, the bus will take you by some iconic Nashville sites like the Ryman Auditorium, Music Row, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. You’ll get the usual historical knowledge from any typical bus tour, but with a twist. A redneck joke-a-minute twist. Plus, fun musical moments along the way.

Their website explains, “If you're looking for a trip that will show you all of Nashville's most famous and historic sites without being a bore, the Redneck Comedy Tour is for you.” I mean, who has time for a boring tour? I don’t.

Right now, morning tours last 2 hours, and afternoon ones are 60 minutes. You have to go ahead and book ahead of time so you can get the timeslot you want. Ticket sales are online or by phone only. Don’t show up and try to buy off the drivers. They can take your ticket, but they can’t sell you one.

If you want a little peek behind the comedy tour curtain, customer reviews say it all: “My sister and I laughed so hard, our sides hurt,” “a must for anyone that wants to learn more about Nashville and likes to laugh,” and “one of the best tours I’ve been on.”

But wait, you might say, how will I know I’m at the right tour bus? You cannot miss it. I’m serious. When you see the giant camo bus with bull horns on the front, you’ll know you’re in the right spot!

When the tour’s done, you’ll end up right back where you started. And feel free to take pictures and mingle with the driver and hosts—they’re just as entertaining to talk to in person as they are in their show.

One last thing. Parking is often a question for people wanting to have fun in Nashville, and I’ve got good news: You can park for free behind the Nashville Palace nearby. Free parking is always a bonus.

The Redneck Comedy Bus Tour is a chance to see those iconic Music City landmarks, while sitting down and laughing until it hurts. I’d call that a win, win, win.

Hey, if you’ve already been on this tour, what did you think? Send me your thoughts! I’d love to hear.
