I love Nashville!

For so, so many reasons. There’s good music, food, people and sports!

I want to catch another Nashville Soccer Club (SC) game. This time, in the new stadium. Here’s what I learned about the team.

The Nashville soccer team is called Nashville SC, and they’re a Major League Soccer (MLS) team based in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville SC was founded in 2017 and began playing in the MLS in 2020 as an expansion team.

The team used to play its home matches at Nissan Stadium, which is a multi-purpose stadium that also serves as the home of the NFL's Tennessee Titans. However, Nashville SC has started playing in their soccer-specific stadium in the city's fairgrounds area, which was completed in 2022.

Nashville SC's colors are blue and gold, which pay homage to the city's musical roots, and their logo features a guitar pick. The team's supporters group is called The Backline, and they are known for their passionate support of the team.

Nashville SC has had some early success in their short time in the MLS, reaching the playoffs in their inaugural season in 2020.
