Well, Well, Well . . . If It Isn’t a Coffee Shop With a Mission

The Well Coffeehouse is a missional coffeehouse focused on sustainable solutions to poverty.

Coffee is everywhere in Nashville (thank goodness, right?). So what makes The Well a can’t miss spot? Lots of things.

I’ll start with their mission—which is right there in the name! When you get your caffeine fix at The Well, they donate money to dig wells! Their website explains, “We turn profits into hope. We do this by creating a product you love, serving you with a smile, and giving all of our profits to people in need. We love coffee. We love people even more.”

I love when businesses give back in any way. And The Well really turns that generosity up a notch!

And the thing is, you don’t even have to sacrifice your experience when patroning their shop. Everything they serve (and sell) is delish! When it comes to the coffee, you can grab a bag online or in the store. They carry flavors from Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, and more!

Or sign up for a subscription if you want to make sure you never ever run out. Either way you go, I’ve got to suggest the Whiskey Barrel Aged Coffee with notes of green, apple, whiskey, chocolate. Go ahead and get that whole bean bag. You can order a grinder from them while you’re at it!

Okay, now let’s talk about the experience of getting your cuppa in the shop. They’ve got multiple locations, including Green Hills, Bellevue, and Brentwood. You can order a staple like a Cortada, Cappuccino, Cuban, or Latte. Or check out their seasonal menu. Right now they’re serving a Pomander (cinnamon, orange, and clove latte). It. Is. Heavenly.

And the food is so good too. You can go the route of ordering a lighter meal like the Avocado Toast (avocado, cream cheese, crushed red pepper, olive oil, arugula, and lemon on honey grain toast) or Bagel (plain, everything, or cinnamon raisin with cream cheese or butter). Or really fill up with the Honey Bee (scrambled eggs, sausage, spinach, and honey on a homemade biscuit), one of their breakfast burritos, the Sweet Potato Brunch Bowl, a sandwich, or their Seasonal Salad.

Don’t leave without grabbing some merch. Remember—those profits go to a fantastic cause. Now that’s a perk. Really live up your love of coffee, and help others when you visit The Well!

Hey, if you’ve already been to this spot, what did you think? Send me your thoughts! I’d love to hear.
