Valentines Day Date Idea: Game On

Nashville's Game Terminal Arcade and Bar

Happy Valentine’s Day💟

Whether your visiting Nashville or local it’s Game On! If you’re looking for a fun adventure that’s perfect for gamers of all skill levels because you love to have fun or you forgot to make a reservation for you and your date, look no further than Game Terminal Super Arcade and Bar.

Located near the Lane Motor Museum (which we'll have to talk all about another time), this venue features one of the largest selections of arcade games and pinball machines in the USA. Yes! Right here in Nash.

With both indoor and outdoor gaming options, you can enjoy classic arcade games and pinball machines in a laid-back, inviting, and charming atmosphere. With a vibrant glow and the sound of vintage gaming, you’ll be transported back in time. You'll feel like a kid again . . . except now you can game and drink!

Yeah, it's time to talk about the bar part of this place. There's a great beer list (draft, cans, and bottles) including local brews like the Bearwalker (from Jackalope Brewery), the Peanut Butter Stout (from Tailgate Brewery), and a Homestyle IPA (from the Bearded Iris).

And there are cocktails. Themed. Cocktails. The Sonic has Bacardi, Bacardi Coconut, Blue Curacao, Sour Mix, and Sprite. The Princess Peach Tea is Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Lemon, Simple Syrup, and Tea. (Get it? I love it.) The Donkey Kong has Pumpkin Pie Liquor, Kahlua, Simple Syrup, and Coffee (so you can play late into the night!). So much fun!

They've got great happy hour deals from 4–7pm Monday through Friday, like $6 draft beer, margs, and well drinks. And Whiskey Wednesday means ½ off whiskeys and bourbons. And Tuesday nights . . . trivia!

For food you can start off with Loaded Fries, Loaded Nachos, Quesadillas, or Fried Pickles. (Or, stick to snacks if that's all you want!) They've got salads if you want to enjoy some leafy greens while you play.

There are sandwiches and tenders (including Nashville Hot Chicken, of course), four smash burger options (Classic, Bacon Cheeseburger, Spicy, and the Big Tex Burger—which has pulled pork, fried onions, slaw, bbq sauce, and pepperjack cheese), four hot dogs (Classic, Chili Cheese, Philly Cheese, and Slaw Dog)—and a kids' menu. That's right. You can totally bring the kids!

This place really has it all. Food. Fun. Refreshment. It's perfect for parties, celebrations of any kind, or just to get away from your normal life and escape into some awesome games.

Have you been to the Game Terminal? What did you think? What was your favorite game? I want to know everything.
